Become a food pantry volunteer
In the Heartland food pantry, volunteers can directly help meet the needs of community members. Food pantry volunteers show their dedication to serve others by committing to volunteer one Thursday afternoon or one Saturday morning of each month. Volunteers help create a welcoming atmosphere while assisting clients in choosing healthy meals for their families. Click here to download the volunteer application. Please email your completed application and updated resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Become an AmeriCorps member at Heartland
Being an AmeriCorps member is a full-time job. The Americorps members at Heartland are the young, aspiring health professionals of tomorrow. Heartland provides training to AmeriCorps members who then use the skills and experiences acquired to richly impact the lives of individuals who are the most under-served in Lawrence and in Douglas County.
Fundraisers / Benefits
