Available Soon at Heartland Clinics

The CDC now recommends that all children 6 months through 5 years of age receive a COVID-19 vaccine. This means that everyone 6 months and older is now eligible for vaccination.

Parents and caregivers can now get their children 6 months through 5 years of age vaccinated with the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines to better protect them from COVID-19. According to the CDC news release, all children, including children who have already had COVID-19, should get vaccinated.

All Heartland clinics, including Heartland @ Panda Pediatrics, will be offering the vaccine for children age 6 months to 5-years-old. Adults and children over 5-years-old can also receive their vaccine/booster at Heartland Community Health Center. Heartland @ Panda Pediatrics will begin scheduling appointments as soon as Thursday, June 23.

“Heartland is privileged to be in the position to provide COVID-19 vaccines to this new age group as soon as this week,” said Krista Parks, Clinic Manager at Heartland Community Health Center. “We are also excited to be able to administer vaccines for children and adults at our upcoming Panda-Monium event at Heartland @ Panda Pediatrics.”
