Panda Pediatrics Extends Walk-In Clinic Hours and Hosts Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinics for Cold & Flu Season

As the chilly winds of fall sweep in, so does the cold and flu season. It’s that time of the year when parents become especially vigilant about their children’s health. The Best of Lawrence team at Panda Pediatrics is stepping up to make sure families receive the care they need. To better serve the community during the cold and flu season, Panda Pediatrics is excited to announce extended walk-in clinic hours and drive-thru flu shot clinics.

What’s New?

Starting this cold and flu season, Panda Pediatrics will extend its walk-in clinic hours to ensure that families have convenient access to pediatric care when they need it most. Now, you can visit the clinic without an appointment between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. in the morning, as well as from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the afternoon. This extended availability will make it easier for parents to address their children’s healthcare concerns promptly.

In addition to the extended walk-in clinic hours, Panda Pediatrics is hosting drive-thru flu shot clinics throughout the month of October. These drive-thru clinics offer a safe and convenient way for families to get their flu shots and protect against seasonal illnesses.

Why the Extension and Drive-Thru Clinics?

The decision to extend the walk-in clinic hours and host drive-thru flu shot clinics at Panda Pediatrics is a reflection of their commitment to serving the Lawrence community. Recognizing the urgency of cold and flu-related issues, they aim to offer more accessible and immediate care to families. By providing additional walk-in hours and drive-thru flu shot clinics, they hope to reduce waiting times, ease the minds of concerned parents, and ensure that children receive the best possible care during this challenging season.

Additionally, providing flu shots via drive-thru clinics is a response to the ongoing health concerns in the community. It’s a safe and efficient way to ensure that families can receive their flu vaccinations while minimizing contact with others during sick season.

“We understand the importance of timely care during the cold and flu season,” said Maggie Williams, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. “Our extended walk-in hours are designed to provide parents with peace of mind, knowing that we are here to help when they need us most.”

Whether it’s a sudden fever, cough, or any other illness that requires immediate attention, Panda Pediatrics is here to provide top-notch medical care.
