Heartland Community Health Center provides high-quality dental treatment and oral health care to both patients and the public. In addition to comprehensive care in-clinic, Heartland’s dental team also provides services through ongoing community-based programs.
Heartland is currently accepting new pediatric patients for dental and oral health care, including cleaning, x-rays, fluoride, fillings, sealants, and extractions.
Our dental team provides care for patients from infancy to adolescence at Heartland Community Health Center, Panda Pediatrics, and at school through our Healthy Futures community-based program.
Healthy Futures is a community-based program that brings diagnostic, preventative and operative services to children at schools throughout the state of Kansas.

We bill KanCare, commercial insurance, and provide care to children who are uninsured at no-cost to families.
The grant funding, aimed at improving developmental outcomes among children aged 0-5, will enable Heartland to expand its workforce to include Community Health Workers dedicated to pediatric services for families with developmental delays. Heartland is one of only three health centers in the state to receive this award.
As the country’s largest primary care network, Community Health Centers are the health care home for over 30 million Americans in over 14,000 communities across the nation. In 2022, Heartland Community Health Center provided care for more than 20,000 patients, through more than 62,000 visits to their clinics. 57% of these patients were either uninsured or using Medicare/Medicaid as their only form of health insurance.
