HEALTHY FUTURES DENTAL PROGRAM

Healthy Futures

Healthy Futures is a community-based program that brings FREE diagnostic, preventative and operative services to area schools in Douglas, Jefferson, Johnson, Franklin, Leavenworth, Miami, Osage, Shawnee, & Wyandotte Counties. All children at participating schools are eligible for our program. Healthy Futures accepts Medicaid, Commercial/Private Insurance and the uninsured. There is NO COST to you even if your child is uninsured or not fully covered through private insurance. There are no income restrictions to enroll.  If your child does not see a dentist regularly or you are looking for a new dentist, simply fill out a consent form.

Healthy Futures provides the following on-site services:

  • Exams
  • X-rays
  • Cleanings
  • Fluoride Varnishes
  • Silver Diamine Fluoride
  • Dental Sealants
  • Fillings
  • Extractions of infected baby teeth

Having your child seen by the in-school dentist saves you valuable time, as well as less time taken from your child’s academics. Top quality care is provided by a licensed dentist and hygienist right in the familiar surroundings of school.”
