Half Marathon Route
The half marathon features downtown Lawrence, the river, and the Baker Wetlands. The course has seven aid stations with water, a Port-A-John, and sports drink; energy gels will be available at Aid Stations 4, 5, 6, and 7.
5K Route
The 5k route loops around downtown Lawrence, with one aid station and approximately 120 ft of elevation gain.

Proceeds from the Kansas Half Marathon & 5K support Heartland Community Health Center, a nonprofit organization providing medical, dental, mental health, and supportive services to more than 25,000 patients each year, regardless of income or insurance status.
Heartland Community Health Center is a safety net health care provider committed to expanding health care access for all and providing that access in an integrated, accessible, patient-centered model with a focus on improving the quality of life for our patients in Douglas County and neighboring communities
