Car Seat Safety
Each year, thousands of young children are killed or injured in car crashes. Proper use of car seats helps keep children safe, but with so many different seats on the market, many parents find this overwhelming.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has a free calculator which easily determines by age, height, and weight what car seat is right for your child.
GET AN INSPECTION
They offer 4 free car seat inspection stations a month; two during the weekday morning, one during the evening and one on Saturday morning. They also will offer financial assistance for car seats if you qualify.
Drive through, no appointment needed inspections on the first Saturday, every-other month.
Car seat inspections are usually held on the first Saturday of the month at the Eudora Fire Station, these are by appointment only.

Panda Pediatrics Walk-In Clinic
Is your child feeling sick? Open every week day, Panda Pediatrics is the only walk-in clinic specializing exclusively in pediatric care in Lawrence.
Established patients can visit the walk-in clinic for non-emergent sick symptoms.
The walk-in clinic is located at 1803 W 6th Street and is open to patients from 8am – 10am & 1pm – 3pm, Monday – Friday.
