Sick Again? You're Not Alone.

If you’re like more parents– it’s like you just get over one cold, and boom, another one hits. We’re here to shed some light on why this happens and offer some tips to help you navigate through it.

So, picture this: your little ones bring home all sorts of stuff from school or daycare, right? Well, it turns out they’re not just bringing home their backpacks – they’re also carrying a whole bunch of germs. And these germs? They like to spread. A lot.

In fact, did you know that if you have two or more kids, chances are someone in your household will be sick with a respiratory illness for more than half of the year? Yeah, it’s a lot to take in.

But here’s the thing: it’s not just your household. It’s happening to families everywhere. And while it might seem like there’s no end in sight, there are some reasons behind why this keeps happening. With kids spending more time at home lately and not being exposed to the usual bugs at school or daycare, their immune systems might not be as strong as they could be. Plus, with flu, RSV, and COVID-19 all making the rounds at the same time, it’s like the perfect storm for sickness.

At Panda Pediatrics, we’re all about helping families get through sickness no matter what the season. Our walk-in clinics are here to provide immediate care for your little ones when they’re feeling under the weather. And our team of healthcare professionals? They’re ready to offer up some tips on how to keep those pesky germs at bay.

So, remember this: you’re not alone in this battle against sickness. We’re here to support you every step of the way. Together, we’ll get through this – one tissue at a time.

Children may experience a viral infection as often as once a month. It's not uncommon for a cough to linger for four to six weeks after a virus, meaning they (or you) may catch another bug before fully recovering from the previous one.
